SIFAEG and SIFAÇÚCAR: pioneering spirit and sustainability for the future of the industry.

SIFAEG and SIFAÇÚCAR, the unions that represent the ethanol, sugar and bioelectricity manufacturing industries in the state of Goiás, were founded in 1984 and act to legally represent producers and coordinate institutional actions with government bodies, trade associations, business segments, institutions, etc. Their focus is on promoting the constant modernization of the bioenergy industry, always following the precepts of socio-environmental sustainability.

Trade unions represent the interests of member companies before the various spheres of government and civil society. They also identify, analyze and share innovative solutions that add value to business, whether technical, operational or legal-regulatory.

Its actions are based on the fundamental principles of freedom of association and institutional cooperation, the defense of free competition and compliance with legal principles, the constant improvement of best practices in terms of safety, health and the environment, the encouragement of business sustainability, and the incentive to act ethically, with integrity and transparency.
