SIFAEG and SIFAÇÚCAR, the unions that represent the ethanol, sugar and bioelectricity manufacturing industries in the state of Goiás, were founded in 1984 and act to legally represent producers and coordinate institutional actions with government bodies, trade associations, business segments, institutions, etc. Their focus is on promoting the constant modernization of the bioenergy industry, always following the precepts of socio-environmental sustainability.
